1. Before start

In order to start working with IQFeed make sure that you have done everything necessary:

1. Open account, if you don’t have it.

2. Download and install latest version of IQ Feed client from official website of IQFeed (for latest testing IQFeed client 4.4.0.1 was used, but other versions should also work without problems).

3. Download and install the latest version of PT multistation from the download page. Read documentation to find out about peculiarity of IQFeed connection. Your PT multistation will be updated automatically after each launching.

Note: PT multistation users will have 20% discount if they subscribe to IQFeed annually.

2. Connection to IQFeed server

In order to connect to IQFeed server via PT multistation, do the following:

1. Run PT multistation, create new connection and select IQFeed from the list of available connections. Follow simple logic filling in all required fields and click Finish button.

2. You can enter/change your Login and Password right from connection list.

Use Remember checkbox to make PT multistation remember your credentials for further use.

3. Log in to your newly created connection without your login and password at IQ Feed.

During connection you will see IQFeed API connection screen. WE recommend to check both checkbox (Save login and password and Automatically connect).

Note: We do not reccomend to change standert connection ports. In case if you like to do this, you need to made corresponding changes in registry by key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\DTN\IQFEED]
