1. Before start

In order to start working with Interactive Brokers make sure that you have done everything necessary:

1. Open account, if you don’t have it. For the first time we recommend to use demo account (Login - edemo, password - demouser)for testing and learning.

2. Download and install the latest version of PT multistation from the download page. Read documentation to find out about peculiarity of Interactive Brokers connection. Your PT multistation will be updated automatically after each launching.

3. Download and install the latest version of TWS

Note: You can ask our support team in order to get demo account settings.

3. Connection to Interactive Brokers server

In order to connect to Interactive Brokers server via PT multistation, do the following:

1. Run PT multistation, create new connection and select Interactive Brokers from the list of available connections. Follow simple logic filling in all required fields and click Finish button.

2. Run TWS
3. Login with your real or demo account.

4. Check " Enable ActiveX and Socket Clients" from main menu Configure/API.

5. Switch to PT multistation and click connect in the login screen.

6. In case all is done properly TWS will ask you to allow incoming connection when you click connect. Please press "Yes".

Use Remember checkbox to make PT multistation remember your credentials for further use. Do not close TWS during your work with Interactive Brokers. Otherwise PT multistation will not be able to work with it.
